I was looking at some footage from last season this week. One of my biggest goals last season was to work really hard on improving my carving technique. After the first trip I had gotten the feel of the toe side carve down pretty well but I kept losing my edge on my heel side. Unfortunately the season ended before I really nailed my technique but I think the important thing is that I set some goals and I worked toward them.
For the 2011-12 season I worked on my dynamic carving. I didn’t really nail that either so going into this next season my goal is going to be to get my heel side carve down then use that to do some sick dynamic carving
We’re now less than 5 months away from the next season and I’ve started to hit the gym again. I started last season as fit as I’ve ever been and I think it helped out a lot with my riding. This season I hope to do the same and hit the slopes hard. Let’s do this!
